Sylvia Hunter, M.Ed. BCBA
Director and Behaviour Consultant
Sylvia has worked in the field of Autism and Developmental Disabilities for 16 years in home, school and community settings. She completed her BSc of Psychology in Ireland before moving to Vancouver. Sylvia completed her Masters of Education in Special Education in 2015 and has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst since 2016. She is a RASP Category A Behaviour Consultant.
Sylvia is passionate about collaborating with families to support children and youth in living their best lives. She has additional training and professional development in areas of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, executive function and ADHD, trauma-informed practice, practical functional assessment and skills-based treatment.
Sylvia lives in Comox, BC with her partner and two children, their dog Rue and leopard gecko Inky.
